Bahari Divers is managed by
the German Inka Glugla and Sufiani Makame from Zanzibar. They run two dive bases - one on Zanzibar and the
other one on the magic island Pemba.
The Zanzibar dive base is situated in Old Stone Town, close to the waterfront (at Shangani/ Kenyatta road).
The Dive Centre is operating since 1997.
Our new dive centre on Pemba is situated at the west coast in the centre of thee small town Wete. We offer
the best diving in East Africa for small groups of experienced divers. Courses and try dives are only
available at our main dive centre on Zanzibar island. You find us opposite Sharouk guesthouse where we
accommodate our divers. A very experienced dive master is running the dive operation.
Scubapro equipment is utilized including BCD's, octopus regulators, masks, fins, 3mm (long sleeved & legged and shortys) wet suits and both steel & aluminium tanks. Inka also has children's fins and masks, Bahari Divers being a very family orientated dive base. Bahari Divers is ensured by DAN (Divers Alert Network) and adheres strictly to safety procedures.
We have a fully equipped dhow craft with two outboard engines (55 & 40 HP).
It is worth noting that the best time for diving in Zanzibar is from February till April and from August through to end of November, allowing you to take advantage of many hotels low season rates.We are looking forward for your visit
